PADDY DURKIN

Paddy has been invovled in Martial Arts most of his life. Starting off in army combatives with his dad who was a boxing champ and member of the 22nd S.A.S. He progressed into Boxing, Wrestling & Karate - having been invovled in many street confrontations Paddy knew you had to know how to grapple pirior to the MMA Revolution. 

 

Paddy fought in the FIRST CAGE FIGHT ever in Britain which was at the Millenium Brawl back on 2002 (04/07/2002) - Which Paddy fought as a draw with Rob Walton. MMA fights up until then were fought in rings or mats - but Paddy was the first to enter a cage fight. He went onto winning the C.C.A British Middleweight title in 2005 from which he was invited onto the Ultimate Fighter competition in 2006 but had to decline the invitation due to a leg injury.

 

Another Highlight of Paddy's fighting career was a Silver Medal at the international grappling championship in FLorida, USA. The first Britain to win in a International Grappling Competition
